The parties to a work contract are:

- Architect (planner) = A party, which is primarily obligated in the areas of structures for aesthetic-design work, such as project planning and planning, but also awarding preparation and construction management (a member of the so-called liberal professions)
- Full architect = An architect, who is obligated to carry out all architecture services under a “total contract” that are necessary for the execution of a structure
