The parties to a work contract are:

Architect (Planner)

  • Definitions
    • Architect (planner)  = A party, which is primarily obligated in the areas of structures for aesthetic-design work, such as project planning and planning, but also awarding preparation and construction management (a member of the so-called liberal professions)
    • Full architect   = An architect, who is obligated to carry out all architecture services under a “total contract” that are necessary for the execution of a structure
  • Natural person
  • Joint associations of architects
    • Simple group or society
    • Collective partnership
    • Limited partnership
  • Planner group or society
    • Simple group or society
      • as long as another organisation form was not formally selected
  • Legal entity
    • Stockholding company
    • Company with limited liability
    • Cooperative

Principal

  • Definition
    • Principal   = the party which orders the work
  • Majority of persons or entities as customer
    • So-called construction consortium
  • Natural person
  • Joint asscociations
    • Simple group or society
    • Collective partnership
    • Limited partnership
  • Legal entity
    • Stockholding company
    • Company with limited liability
    • Cooperative
